During this critical time, GCTV is prioritizing the health of our community and staff, while playing a constructive role in supporting local programming and the ability of Town officials to release critical information to the public during this challenging time.
GCTV’s studio, editing facilities, and field equipment sign-outs will be available to the public by appointment only. No more than three people will be allowed in the facility at any given time. Masks are required and each person will be pre-screened before entering the facility. Each person will have their temperature taken at the door and will be asked the following questions before entering:
– Are you feeling well today?
– Have you been exposed or near anyone who has been exposed to Covid?
– Have you traveled outside the state in the last two weeks?
Anyone with a temperature of 99 or above will not be allowed in the facility. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the facility and we ask that it be used before and after using computers and equipment.
We remain available via email and Zoom to help you plan ways to produce your next program using your mobile devices, your own camera gear or other video recording platforms. It is almost officially summer and we have had plenty of beautiful weather for hiking. Guilford has many wonderful trails for recreation, many of which are maintained by the Guilford Land Conservation Trust. Check out this great organization, which just celebrated it’s 50 year anniversary, in one of GCTV’s recent Spotlight segments.
The weekend broadcast schedule starts tonight at midnight and changes again at 12:01am on Sunday. We have some great new programs including Quiz Bowl 5, new services from Bethel and First Baptist Church and the PZC hearing on the Plan of Conservation and Development.
There are more chances to catch last week’s PZC hearing on propane plus Fradiani Fever programs from his May 1st homecoming.
Always something to watch on GCTV; the place where media for Guilford, by Guilford is created and shared.
We have the latest gavel to gavel coverage of PZC’s hearing on propane, plus more footage from Fradiani Friday. Have you seen our latest photo on Facebook? You might just recognize one of our interns! This and more starting tonight at midnight.
Tune in later this week for the first broadcast of Quiz Bowl 5. Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free so you can watch and share uploaded videos with family and friends after they have broadcast. New programs added on Sundays, with producer permission of course!
Always something to watch on GCTV.
We just finished putting together the schedule for the weekend, which starts at midnight tonight and changes again on Sunday. Look for a new Spotlight on Guilford featuring the Guilford Land Conservation Trust on the Friday / Saturday schedule and tune into the Sunday / Monday / Tuesday schedule for Nick Fradiani in Concert on the Guilford Green! Filmed and edited by Guilford volunteer producers.
Thanks to the Town of Guilford, our volunteer was given access to the risers so the camera could get above the crowds and get a clear view of the stage. But look at the crowd shots….you just might see someone you know cheering on our Idol!
Lots of great new programming coming to the GCTV broadcast schedule starting tonight at midnight.
The schedule kicks off with an interview with American Idol hopeful, Nick Fradiani who was interviewed by local producer, Tony Fappiano, on Fradiani Friday. Look for more programming from this event later this week as we have fan footage, the parade and of course, the CONCERT!
Also airing this cycle is Apple PI Robotics at the World Championships, news from VNA and GHS CARE along with a new BOE meeting. And check out a great video on the Monuments of Rome.
New content has been added to GCTV’s YouTube channel today. Get gavel to gavel coverage of last week’s BOS, PZC and Parks & Recreation meetings. Also look for new programming on our Health & Wellness playlist.
Please consider sharing the programs and playlists you find most informative and enjoyable so that other community members can learn where to access this content.
We have new programs on the broadcast starting at midnight tonight! Celebrate 30 Years of Meals on Wheels, take a 5 Minute Meditation with Carla Augustyn, and watch Monday’s BOS and Parks & Recreation meetings.
